My name is John, otherwise known as Hue. The name comes from a shortened version of my middle name, and is where ‘Hue Grundy Photography’ established itself from. On the day I answer to both Hue or John!

I have loved photography all my life. I started on 35mm film, but have only gotten into digital photography in the past 5 years. I love the flexibility and speed which makes shooting a wedding a genuinely enjoyable experience all round, for everybody involved.

They say with age comes wisdom, but I also believe it brings a sense of comfort to the wedding. The younger generation see me as one of the guests snapping some photographs, while the elderly side of the party can relate better to me due to a closer age gap.

As I tell all my guests – my goal is simple. The day is about two people in love making an everlasting commitment to each other, and my job is to capture as many moments as I can within the day, with as little fuss as possible. Allowing the bride, groom, and guests to enjoy the day to the maximum.
